Home Health Aide (HHA)

Position Overview:

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) at Care Connect at Home, you will provide non-medical care to clients who need assistance with daily living activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors while working in a flexible, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help with mobility and transfers, such as turning clients, helping them into wheelchairs, and assisting with walking.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring clients receive proper nutrition.
Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing client living spaces.
Keep accurate records of daily activities, client health status, and any changes in condition.
Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals and communicate effectively with the care team.
Ensure the client's safety and comfort in their home environment.

Qualifications:

Current Florida Home Health Aide Certificate (or CNA) required.
Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association preferred).
TB Test (current with negative results).
Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance.
Ability to pass a Level II background check.
Compassionate, reliable, and patient with a strong desire to help others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in home health care or working with elderly or disabled individuals is a plus, but not required.
